About Paige:

Paige Baker is a one of a kind, Professional Fitness Trainer in Carlsbad, CA

“My life path began in the Midwest and as most kids, I loved to imagine: creating works of art, building dirt forts, and always wanting to try new things. I learned early on from my mother that if I start something I need to finish it, even if it is absolutely the last thing I want to do.  A completed venture or plan is never a disappointment.

Attending Pepperdine University was my introduction to sun filled California and Malibu –an amazing place to earn a psychology degree.   My motivation to help families build better lives led me to family preservation work in San Diego where I spent time in detention centers and reunifying parents and children.  My work was rewarding but also stressful and I discovered incorporating exercise into my day made the stress fade away. Stress relief being just one of the many advantages. I had also started running long distance and found out that I had a knack for it.  Time led to a shift in my focus. Yes I wanted to continue helping people but was eager to help others improve their health through movement and nutrition.

Since my sport science studies at St. Cloud State and years as a certified personal trainer, I have had impact on the well-being of individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Through my Egoscue studies, I am able to treat individuals’ pain issues by identifying muscle dysfunction and correcting posture alignment. I am rewarded every single day.  When I am not working, you will find me active outdoors, drawing, or spending time with my favorite people.  I live each day remembering the motto: “Persistence – The race goes not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.”
